Mine is an AMD 64bit Venice 3200+, 1GB ram and two 80GB HDD...

Work in Progress:

AMD Athlon 64 4000+
2 Gigs DDR400 RAM
120 gig hdd (will be adding a 300-400 gig storage drive)
DVD Burner
Hopefully upgrade my Soundcard to an X-fi
and maybe for a video card - an x1000

yea its gonna be nice im either gonna go with that 4000+ or X2 ..everyones like go Opteron but honestly i dont see the point in it.

right now i got the same ole 32bit rig ive had for 2 yrs

My PC should be:
AMD64 3500+
1GB Corsair Ram (Dual channel of course )
One 200GB HD, one 80GB (both IDE) and two external hard drives (both USB 2.0), one 40GB and one 30GB.
Old 4x DVD Burner and 52x CD-ROM (both recycled from an old pc)
Dual NVidia 6600GTs in SLI
Built in 6ch Surround Sound

When I say should though, I mean that I would have if it weren't for the fact that one of the GFX cards was dodgy so I had to send back both cards and the mobo (as they all came in a bundle) which apparently were received by ebuyer (says the royal mail) but they have no record of them and therefore cannot replace/refund them.

i have several computers, but none 64 bit...over the next few months i will hopefully get my hands on a couple...
but i'm currently waiting to start my work in progress
i want 64 bit to go more mainstream as well as dual core
i don't usually build pc's for myself...but i promised myself once all this goes more mainstream i'll do it (and i guess that'll be around vista time?)
and thank god money won't be a problem!
i figure i'll build a cpu in about year (don't worry i'll be upgrading before than ) and then a year later i'll be off to college and will get myself a powerbook i guess (of course that all depends if vista will be able to run on them)

for now i'm running a 3500 winchester, asus a8n sli deluxe (or dfi nf4 ultra D, as i
switch them out then and again), 2x512 ocz platinum rev. 2 tccd ram @2225,
ati x850xt pe vivo, 4x raptor sata drives, a dual layer dvd burner, floppy,
lian-li v1000 case, and danger den cooling on everything but the ram and drives.
my new case (v2000 server) is on the plane, as is the new triple rad from
danger den (hot summers here). will have to wait for the dual core opteron 'till
after the new year (instead of the x2 athlon, as the opterons have less
latency, three hypertransport lanes to a single lane for the athlons), and maybe more ram...oh, and running a pc power and cooling psu to keep it all lit.

I think I'd lose any competition here , except mobile X64 power .

I have two!!! I just bought an Acer Ferrari 4000 notebook with an AMD Turion64 1.6G Proc. 1GB Ram, 15" widescreen display, 100GB HD and an ATI X700 Mobility Radeon Graphics set. It runs 32bit XP at the moment though But I will be upgrading to 64bit soon.

just be careful with it . I can't imagine myself sitting in front on a plain PC... It's just awesome when combined with Wi-Fi internet - can walk anywhere at home

Idles 40 maxes to 50 with current Ambient of 24c it does 45c idle and 52 c
max when its 33 ambient

8 usb2 / Normal IDE and RAID SATA (2 ports) and a single Raid IDE CHannel for up to 6 ata Devices / onboard gigabit lan / And a bunch of other usuals

-Very Silent cooling, unless the fans start to get more Volts
- The same ATX case ive been using since my Athlon XP 1.6ghz days back when i bought it in year 2000 - It has seen my 80mm holesaw a few times, and my Sheet metal cutter once or twice but everything sits very snuggly and theres enough cooling to handle even hot sweltering days playing Doom3 and HL2 but why should i ? i have an A/C B)
