Microsoft is working on SUPERFETCH(dynamic ram on USB-stick)
Will that be the solution for the allknown RAM problems?

I'm not sure what the link to USB drives is, but the USB capability is only a part of it. The main advantage over the prefetch capabilities in existing versions of Windows is the ability to track not only the files being stored in the prefetch, but when they are used. In short, superfetch is a smarter version of prefetch, but with the ability to use a USB stick as additional RAM included.

By the time USB gets that fast, we'll probably be using a new SATA or even FibreChannel spec in its place.

yeah, its simply a matter of by the time USB gets to RAM speed, RAM speed will be way faster, then USB will catch up to RAM speed, RAM speed will be..... and it keeps going...

see the bad thing about computers is the need for speed and space is so demanding the industry can't keep up. They do need to hit the brakes a bit so everything can catch up before everything crashes O.o

i don't agree, their will always be high performance and low performance pcs's, how else can u do it ? not everyone can afford high end pcs like me
Theirs generally a price range for everything.
Shadowfox you and the industry can catchup right now, all you need is some $
