Adobe CS5 now shipping, trials available for download

images/news/generic.jpgAdobe on Friday announced that their flagship production and design software collection, Creative Suite 5, has reached RTM and is now shipping. Adobe has also posted 30-day trial downloads for every application and suite in CS5.

Creative Suite 5 has been touted to include major updates to over 14 of their applications and over 250 new features for the entire suite.

Adobe

Users can either download trials of the different suite editions or choose individually between different applications. Trial downloads require a free Adobe ID registration.

a gig???!!! a flippin' gig for the cs5 photoshop installer (just the installer!) on it's own? holy mackerel!

I am just amazed at the way Adobe still let's peeps 'trial' their FULL software after all has gone before lol. If I really had the money to burn though, I would definitely pay for this, well worth every damn penny!! IMO. I never stop getting amazed with this software, and never get tired of watching others do amazing things to images with it.

The camera comes second now to this great software.

Post processing is what its all about now, not the £4,000+ gear you have at your side :jerry:


So to answer your statement, a gig is bloody amazing, let it grow higher :giggle:

i dunno...if the portable version does most of what i want, and does the filters i like, i can't really see going over a gig to get the same thing, or close to...oh, and no spystuff from adobe...

the trial works swell though. the portable i was using was an early one, and was missing some funtions.
