Server 2003 is without a doubt one of Microsoft's established Server Operating Systems and yet it struggled to remove NT Server from the ranks and in some cases Server 2000...

What is left for Vista Server? Do you think it will seriously wipe the slate clean and be a real sound base, for Microsoft in the industry where businesses now slowly using Linux alternatives, will go for it...?

I don't think so, with the call of so much ram and everything with Vista... unless they seriously doctor it or if it ends up like Server 2003, then what's the point? a newer build number and a newer "version"? I don't think it'll hit too hard, not unless it's cracked and passed around... then maybe it'll take off. But when you're using Server as a SERVER and not a workstation the cravings for ram become well, intense and if you've gotta load another gig or 2 just to make your stuff viewable, people won't take to kindly to that!

I don't think so...unless they make some major changes it is just going to end up like a server 2k3 with some better graphics and such.
