images/news/windows.jpg"Say cheese!" says the world's most adorable Windows user. The next segment of Microsoft's "Windows. Life Without Walls" campaign may just knock out a few hearts.

The commercial is supposed to air tomorrow, during the 51st Grammy Awards, but Microsoft just couldn't wait until. There's already a Microsoft marketing Website for the "The Rookies." I can only guess that other commercials will feature other youngsters using other Microsoft products.

Watch it on Soapbox

the problem with these "I'm so young but I can use Windows" ads is the following:
The first OS you encounter, is the first you'll use. Therefor, give those young children a Mac, and they'll advertise MacOS, give them any sort of Linux, and that's what they'll love.
This "look me being a young person using Windows" might work, but the theory behind it is wrong.
My first OS-experience was DOS 4.x and I was able to use it. Why? because I had to, not because I choose it!
