I think, it is two-sided.
1. Microsoft is probably very aware of vulnerabilities in their software, therefor can anticipate on that
2. It is a step into the "world domination" thingy, just like what happened in the browser war. I wouldn't like to see that happen

A third........

Their Onecare solution failed miserably and is being dissolved, kinda like Vista in a way, although you would never get them to admit that :rofl_mini: :green_beer:

there ya go. i hope this means them going in the right direction. yeah sphere, the "keeping tabs" on their own vulnerabilities thing might just holdup here. if they can streamline it to fit w/the speed of windows 7, i'd hit it :green_beer:
one less thing to have to buy/install...

:green_beer: No joke there! I even bought the horrid thing for like 20 and I couldn't stomach it. There are already many free apps out there that I am not too sure if it will make a huge impact...however if it is included in the OS itself like IE was...

I was about to say "I just don't trust this" but I think Sphere's got something with his first point. If they can anticipate on their own vulnerabilities, it could be a good app. Otherwise, I would stick with my trusty AVG Free.
