I have to agree Mo, the last movie I saw at the theater was "Charlie Wilson's War" with Tom Hanks. Prior to that, it was "The Sixth Sense" with Bruce Willis. That is a span of about 6 years between tickets. Not that some of the movies in those years might have been worth watching but not enough, at least for me, to pay $5.00 to $7.00 a ticket. Not to mention $5.00 for popcorn. As for music, I have not listened to a car radio for possibly 15 years. I use my car, even for short trips, as a prayer/meditation room. No phone, no other voices. It is a rare time in cherished isolation. The music on the radio is oldies that I have been listening to for 30 to 40 years, country which is not one of my choices, or current playlists that one song sounds much like the last song and next one. Needless to say, I am not overly concerned, as a matter of fact, not at all concerned about recording anything from the television or the radio. I have 1000's of songs on my computer and a small collection of CDs. These are all hand picked for different musical needs from elation, mediation, celebration, prayer, mourning, laughing, crying, and so on. What is showing on the "silver screen" or through the airwaves, as a general rule, does none of those things for me. As always, these are just my feelings. I imagine many of you feel differently. I understand and respect that...Bill.
