images/news/nvidia.jpgJoke or not, the latest info from the far east states that Nvidia has decided on delaying the release of the GeForce 9800 GTX by one week. Initially set for a March 25th launch, the 9800 GTX would be introduced on April 1st, a reason for AMD fanboys to say the card is a joke.
Powered by the G92-420 chip, the GeForce 9800 GTX has 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 2200 MHz, 128 Stream Processors at 1688 MHz and a core frequency of 675 MHz. The retail price of the upcoming card will hover between $299 and $349. This delay of the 9800 GTX could also push the release of the 9800 GT (expected for April 3rd) further back.
