Well personally mine is Windows XP x64 as I feel it has the best of both worlds. XP goodies plus the reliability of Server 2003. Second choice and the one I mainly use is Server 2008. I just love this operating system, seems reliable and can do pretty much everything vista can do. Whats more doesn't seem to have those annoyances Vista suffers from.

I use XP at work where I need it for Photoshop, but at home I've been running only Linux for about a year. I dual-booted Linux and XP for about 5 years before that. I haven't used Vista since RC2.

So far I feel so individual I can't be the only person here using Server 2008 as a workstation.
@ scara you must be using the one and only Windows ME :moreilly:

Xp X64.....The ONLY os of any use! But a couple of Linux OSes will work in a pinch

If the major game developers would all switch to OpenGL, I'd use Ubuntu exclusively.

I have to ask whats the appeal for running Ubuntu Studio?
