Do the skys really look like this in Missouri??

i've experienced one at the grans place. scary stuff (yes, i live in california). i remember running for the cellar. sounded like a freight train went directly over us. real pretty sky though... :(

Yeah, the midwest is kind of known for having really awesome skys. As long as your far enough away from big cities, cause then you get a bunch of light. But I'm far enough out.
