i've experienced one at the grans place. scary stuff (yes, i live in california). i remember running for the cellar. sounded like a freight train went directly over us. real pretty sky though...

Yeah, the midwest is kind of known for having really awesome skys. As long as your far enough away from big cities, cause then you get a bunch of light. But I'm far enough out.
