Odd, in Opera Brews statement is normal top and bottom, in IE though the first is normal and the second is backwards. Strange.

Apparently my trick exploits a little bug in Firefox. IE doesn't follow standards at all, so it shows it backwards. Opera renders it correctly and knows how to highlight the correct character. Try it in Firefox and you'll see what I mean.

I wrote it backwards, so that it would be readable. In Firefox (at least for me), when you try to highlight the first y in "try", it actually highlights the y in quotes.

Here it is again.

I don't much care for Firefox but I will take your word for it, smarter choice, for me at least, is Opera. They have Kestrel in the works which means new things are not so far off, seems one of the largest upgrades in some time from what I am reading.
