Actually the situation isn't much better here in Canada. In a couple of years the Canadian dollar has passed from the equivalent of 70¢ US to 1.00$ US right now. Games prices haven't moved one cent. They are around 59.99$ CND for a 49.99$ USD game, 69.99$ for 59.99$, etc. It's not about import taxes or anything, it's just that the companies haven't adapted their prices to the new economical situation. It sucks. My friends and I are planning a trip to Boston (and maybe down to NY) in May. If the situation is still the same (and if the Canadian dollar continues to rise) we might as well raid the US videogames stores while we're there.
