Sony Planning to Release new Modified version of PS3.. PS3 v2 (PS4)

A new PS3v2 could be less than 14 months away according to a Sony insider. The device will include the same chipset as the current PS3 but where it will differ from the current model is in the drive bay and in the attachment area. It will also include an extensive software suite for the managing of content being streamed to a TV or Hi Fi source.

Hmmm, cool!! They are trying to do to much home entertainment stuff with the PS3 if you ask me. All this just increases the price and therefore limits the number of people that will buy it. Sony needs to take a few lessons from the sucess of the Wii!

Assuming this takes the route of the PSP I imagine it would be an impressive piece of hardware, consoles still do not appeal to me due to my dislike of controllers more than anything, but they are becoming more impressive as time passes without a doubt.

Actually the situation isn't much better here in Canada. In a couple of years the Canadian dollar has passed from the equivalent of 70¢ US to 1.00$ US right now. Games prices haven't moved one cent. They are around 59.99$ CND for a 49.99$ USD game, 69.99$ for 59.99$, etc. It's not about import taxes or anything, it's just that the companies haven't adapted their prices to the new economical situation. It sucks. My friends and I are planning a trip to Boston (and maybe down to NY) in May. If the situation is still the same (and if the Canadian dollar continues to rise) we might as well raid the US videogames stores while we're there. :D

So in most cases this is the reason Why you can Detect on about 90% of Home user Computers pirated (warez) software :P
Not because people Don't want to buy.. but because they have no money for that :D
