PS3 Firmware Update 1.82 Now Live

The 1.82 firmware update is to allow for the playback of AVC High Profile files (H.264/MPEG-4).

This update really isn’t that much of a “major” one, but I’m happy to see Sony is listening to the feedback that’s being given at their blog.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with this update! They don't always have to be huge updates to make the users happy! It's the little things that count at times, nice to know that Sony is paying attention to the forums.
