Now this really is an amazing, if not slightly envy inducing story.

The details are sketchy but from what I can gather someone bought a house in Portugal (abandoned for some 15 years) and included in the sale was a portion of land. While out exploring the land the owner came across a large warehouse (as you do). Finding the doors welding and padlocked shut he proceeded to angle grind his way in.
To his amazement he was confronted by 180 rare, classic and valuable motor cars. The selection of vehicles from all over Europe include Jaguar’s, Volkswagen’s, Porsche’s, Lancia’s, Alfas, Lotuse’s, Austin Mini’s, Renault’s and open-wheel formula car’s to name but a few.

Reading through a forum post one reader seems to think that one of the Porsche’s alone is worth around 500k Euros (£339k).
No word on who owns the cars or the legal standpoint with regard to ownership/sales rights but no doubt classic car collectors all over the world are salivating and rubbing their hands together as we speak.

Thanks Gadgetspy for this.

Why Oh Why cant i be this lucky!! :( There are some valuable cars here.

;) :(

I also read an article in my local newspaper that someone bought a foreclosed home on the coast of portugal, only to find the house's previous owner's mummified body lying on the couch. apparently the salt in the air caused the body to mummify, rather than rot.
I would poop my pants!

I knew of someone who bought a Harley at a garage sale (or something like that) and he called in the serial or VIN to get parts for it; Harley Davidison told him that he must of wrote down the number wrong, so he rechecked it and confirmed it. They then told him to remove the seat, and in doing so he found a gold plated plaque on which it said Happy Birthday Elvis (or something like that, my memory isn't the best sometime) and Harley offered him 1 million on the spot for the bike.

That Aston Martin DB7 is worth a ton I bet. That is the old bond car from Goldfinger.

That is just incredible. I could've understood if there was 4-5 cars, but man, there's a LOT of them ! That guy is so lucky.
