My 22" monitor has 1680x 1050 as well but the 23" that I saw on newgg was native res of 1366 x 768, an a max of 1440 x 900. I dont know why a bigger screen would have a lower res but I dont want that lower res.

In the 22" monitors that is about the best one newegg carries, by that I mean everything you get with that, the spec's on it are better then the other monitors I have seen. I think a 24" would be nice but your looking at about double the money.
