Hi. I'm new to x64bit.net and need some advice. I just started a new job, and have been put in charge of a number of computers... one of which runs XP Pro x64bit.

Basically, I need a firewall that stops programs from phoning home... like Zone Alarm. Does such a program exist for the x64bit platform?

Also, we print a lot of architechural drawings etc on an A0 printer... which more often that not freezes Windows. Is there some sort of GUI diagnostic utility that can test my hardware?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome! As to the firewall......ashampoo and ghost firewall (has to be configured) are the only two I know of. The printer issue sounds like a driver burp. Make sure you look on the printer maker's site for x64 drivers.
