Thanks Tweak! i inherited my sisters old commodore and had lots of fun programming it. It was a very powerful machine for its time. Will be interesting what they have in store for us!

Sounds like they're trying to make a buck off the name. I hope they have a decent product.
BTW, my grandpa asked me to build a computer for him a few years ago and the only computer he'd ever used before was a Commodore 64. He jumped from a Commodore 64 to an Athlon 64.
He gave me the C64, but it doesn't work.

After a goodle seach .. i came across this ..
The new Commodore gaming PCs will be available online at CommodoreGaming.com in April. Official pricing has not been released, but the BBC is reporting that prices will range between £1,000-£5,000 ($1,900-$9,500). Of course that depends on how you pimp out your PC.

I've been listening that the price of the full featured CXX may reach US$ 10.000... ! ! !

sounds like another alienware type hype computer, prolly could build that for alot less then that price.
