Well, I have set my sights on my next big protect...

I plan on mounting a swiveling monitor on the side of my case that can swing out. For those of you who have not seen it I have a Athenatech case that is 13.8 in wide by 13 in tall with a 19 in horizontal length. Here is a picture

By wing out I mean there would be a hinge on the back that would swing the monitor out and another off of that one to pivot it vertically.

Right now I plan on using a Acer Ferrari Notebook screen with a resolution of 1680x1040. The only issue is that Laptop monitors use LVDS signal vs. DVI/VGA. I need a converter for such a signal. But they are all quite expensive or have a limitation to what motherboard you can use with it.

I can solder and can purchase individual parts if needed, If I were to create my own signal converter is there anyone here that can help with that? I have searched and have found threads where they have come to the conclusion you cant and some that you can.

Current Rig (May change though...)

Core 2 Duo E6300
2Gigs Gskill DDR2 800
DG965WH
DLink Air Plus Router
XFX XTX 7800GT
2 7800.1 250G Drives in Raid 0

Im open to any Ideas
