I never intended it as an OS bashing thread.

Just close it MO.

In fact........better to delete it buddy :davex:

man, this would be cool! i don't think many members are aware that we have official beta testers on site, and longhorn server is on it's way...i would like to see us being "helpful" in the online tech community, as we have so many talented people here. this is a fun place, and i think many people having fits with their OS of choice, Vista included, would feel ok asking about issues, without being looked down upon (and being able to vent, too :yahoo: ). very cool, dave :davex:

Brotha you have people like I who have been involved with this OS Since its conception. Talk to MS people on regular basis and alot of your ideas make it in there because people like myself and dave pass it up the ladder... MPC use to be a decent magazine til i saw a buncha ignorant reasons to not use Vista.. funny that drivers made it up there...they bitched bout the same thing when XP came out and it had horrid driver support and games didnt know how to run on it at all....so you figure it out..

I probably should have left out my smart-alec comment about Vista bashing. I was joking. Considering Maximum PC is a national magazine and respected by many bleeding edge hardware types... I didn't think reporting their findings would be a problem. Too, since Newegg is a supplier of enthusiast hardware, their poll was relevant as well.

The information I posted will be no surprise to MS and I'm sure their marketing specialists are working to change current opinions. Nvyseal posted about the new "Family Pack." This is a step in the right direction and I'm sure more changes will come before the official launch. :davex: At the very least we will see fewer program & driver incompatibilities. :yahoo:
