Microsoft to Handle the Vista Timer 2099 Crack

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you think you've cleverly bypassed Vista activation? Have you implemented the Windows Vista Timer 2099 Crack. Well, You won't be able to enjoy your Vista for long...

The Timer 2009 Crack is the second Windows Vista activation workaround confirmed by Microsoft. Yesterday, a representative of the Windows Genuine Advantage team revealed that the Redmond Company is hard at work analyzing reports of the workaround.

“Known as the 'timer crack' or '2099 crack' this hack basically resets the pre-activation grace period to be in effect through 2099. Implementing this hack requires the user to implement a 23-step process that involves modifying/replacing kernel level files, making manual registry edits and other serious changes that could have destabilizing consequences,” said the WGA representative.

Microsoft failed to deliver the additional details and also to provide the date when the company will take “corrective action” to resolve the workaround. As was the case with the first “corrective action” addressing the Frankenbuild Vista activation workaround, Microsoft will release an update to the Windows Genuine Advantage tool that will detect the crack and render the operating system inoperable.

As a WGA update will be available to handle the Vista Timer 2099 Crack, it is likely that we will see a repeat of the reaction to the update that killed the Frankenbuild Vista activation workaround. Immediately following the Windows Vista Validation update (KB929391), solutions, tutorials and cracks emerged providing a fix for... Microsoft's fix.

But in the end, the only way for users of pirated versions of Windows Vista activated with the Frankenbuild workaround was to not install validation update KB929391, as it moved the operating systems into reduced functionality mode. This will also be the case for the update designed to tackle the Timer 2099 Crack. Although Microsoft will take corrective action; and although this will happen very soon, the actual impact of a Windows Genuine Advantage will be superficial and will not resolve the attempts to circumvent the Windows Vista activation process.
