Goody, goody! I always love it when someone throws a wrench in the gears. Sony, now a biggie of Hollywood, must create this new format war to keep the other studios at bay. The competition is GREED, nothing else! :chriso:
I will be in line when the price is more reasonable for the average buyer. :chriso:

Well, I must say watching stuff with my HD-DVD is totally out of this world!! I still get amazed when watching stuff on it!!

i can see the benefits to this but also downsides, trying to support 2 different formats. I wouldnt mind having one when the prices come down though, Blue Ray is still going for over 750 bucks for most burners

I remember when DVD players an especially Burners were over $400, now they are cheap as can be, for computers the burner is under $30 for home sets its alittle over $50. It will certainly take time but these will drop in price too. They will never go main stream until they are under $150.
