Yup, we have a Ford Windstar that is a total peice of crap!!! I am not joking at all when I say that the check engine light is on more then it is off. (honestly)

Then again we have a three Toyota Camry's that might go to the shop once a year for regular tune-up stuff like the timing belt changed and that's it. They just run and run and run. My Camry has 215,000 miles on it as of yesterday.

I have had very good luck with Fords. The only bad one I ever had was a '67 Fairlane automatic, bought used. Got rid of it and got another '67 Failane...GT with 4 speed, 390 cubes, 40k miles, it was still under the factory warranty, fortunatly I was working at a Ford Dealership. Bought it off a customer who had it towed in to the shop. Had a forsale sign in the window, was asking $1500US, got it for $1000US, only problem was the carberator was messed up. Ended up having a new 428 cubic inch installed, rebuilt tranny and rear end, all under factory warranty!!! :chriso:
To say the least, it was the best automobile I have ever owned. Also had an '84 Ranger that I put 400k miles on. Would have put many more miles on it, if some careless woman had not hit me and totaled the truck. :chriso: The best GM vehicals owned were a '56 Chevy Belair and a '69 Olds 98. Have a '99 Ford Winstar now, with 87k on it. Runs great, still good mileage and does not burn any oil. Will keep this one untill I can afford something else.

I am not a GM, or Ford, or Import guy, I like certain cars, not for the maker, but for the car itself, I own, a 93 GMC diesel pickup, just got has 200k on it now, a 94 Dodge Dynasty which I have had about a year an it been really good, a 87 toyota corolla which is very dependable an decent on gas, an 85 Ford F150 that is just amazing in alot of ways, its my mud an snow toy, an a couple of other GM products, pontiac an chevy they sit, they run but the pontiac has a bad head gasket an the chevy has been in 2 many accidents not by me, the car was parked an some idiot backed into it. an another time it was on the street an some one hit it.

For everyone that don't drink an drive, myself included, this thing is just a gizmo, but do you think anyone that always drink's an drives they would not even buy it. an I agree with them though it is taking more of your an my personal freedoms.
Yep, i have to agree. I understand that there is a problem, but the ones who don't drink and drive and being "punished" as well. We just need more strict laws to deter this.

No stricter laws have not done a darn thing, what we need is more enforcement or possibly some form of alternative.

Actually what we need is a reversion of the old times, Ie horses, get these drunk ******** up on a horse, the horse atleast is smart enough to get home with out the drivers help. an if the "driver" falls flat on his face a few times........lol maybe he will stop.
