Each of which sister can be said to possess the aspect of the turtle with a dash of enlightenment of blue. One must ask what does this have to do with the broccoli? The toes of the fast must be weak with endorsing the cows of the states. Be them younger or older is not the truth that we seek nor flocculate.

That.Is.Perfect. I'm scared how much sense that makes, lol. :davex:

"Two sisters cross the street. Which one is the younger sister?"

Two sisters crossed the street but the one younger sister is a third sister and did not cross the street. Stretch out the enlightened mind. Free it from temporal space and the answer seems self evident...

bill, if we look at it in this way, we might come up against this:

What is the shape of the universe? It is possible that it is Euclidean three-space: infinite volume, with no straight path returning to meet itself. However, the universe might also be finite in volume. You might be able to travel on a straight path and return to your starting point. How is this possible?

:davex: It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

That is true providing that one is from this universe. In parallel or opposing universes, the laws of infinity remain suspended until the full circle of time has been completed, which is not possible. In these spaces time/distance is suspended, advancing, and declining simultaneously. Therefore infinity has no value and is meainingless. This being true, the younger sister is younger, equal in age, and older at the same time as the two sisters before they crossed the road, while they crossed the road, and after they crossed the road. Again, the answer seems self evident...

So 1 divided by infinity is the same as 59,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 divided by infinity? Infinity sucks as in integer. :)

near to nothing != zero.

I, for one, welcome our rare yet hateful overlords. :davex: They're prolly St. Louis fans.

Yeah, it's from Hitchiker's. The "It is?" and "There is?" was supposed to be Adams talking to himself, lol. Doctor Who? :)

edit: not that there's anything wrong with talking to yourself. I do it all the time. :davex:

LOL, I had to re-read it to get the full effect. :) I always get a hoot out of Adams!

The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.
