OK great wise and noble fellow computerists, this popped up on both the lappy and the server which are both running 64bit versions (Server 2008 x64, Vista Home Premium x64) and I don't have a clue so I appeal to your combined wisdom and expertise. Take a look and see what ya think...Bill.

Eh Banj. I just had to do a paper on Aristotle, Kant, and Zen Master Dogen. At the end of the paper when I was trying to work with Zen, I finally said something to the effect of "...and if you want me to clarify any of this further I'm just going to end up drawing clouds on my paper...and it will suffice."

(but I like Zen a lot fwiw)

I would think anyone with a penchant for mental exploration and a little expertise with Lucy in the sky might have found their way into some type of quasi-Zen-ish epiphany. :davex:

Chuang-tze. Or Zhuangzi. I'm used to the old spelling. Good book, that is. I prefer it to the Tao Te Ching/Dao De Jing actually.

Try some Napalm Death or Kreator next time and see what kind of mischief you get into Banjer. :davex:

"Two sisters cross the street. Which one is the younger sister?"

Zen has never made sense to me but I'm trying.

The younger sister is the one that doesn't need my help to cross the street. The older one doesn't either, probably, because she has the help of her younger sister. Either way, they're identifiable.

Unless the younger one is less than ambulatory and dependent on her older sister for help across the street. That puts it back to square one.

dammit.

The street is time and time is without beginning nor end. They have always been crossing it, and indeed they will cross it always.

Actually, the fat one.

Each of which sister can be said to possess the aspect of the turtle with a dash of enlightenment of blue. One must ask what does this have to do with the broccoli? The toes of the fast must be weak with endorsing the cows of the states. Be them younger or older is not the truth that we seek nor flocculate.
