hey, any of you try that adobe cs4 "master collection"? i had a heck of a time getting the thing to go on. it said after installing everything (kitchen sink included), that it couldn't install photoshop...lol took 5 tries with reboots in between. works though...

Only 2 I use are Photoshop & Illustrator, the rest is bloat, in fact this new CS4 seems to be more resource hungry than ever.

Maybe a new change of name is needed?

Bloatoshop?

i guess not. i did have eset business edition installed at the onset of the adobe install, but uninstalled and rebooted to continue with cs4. funny that windows 7 doesnt have the bonjour service running, or any of the funky adobe things going on in the background (at least none that i can see...).

[Rant]
man, i have had it w/the new "master edition"...lol. give me cs3 any day. they (adobe) really did go off the deep (muddy) end of the pier w/this "suite" of offerings. the install takes too long, and if you decided to omit some of the "extras", they turn out to be needed for the nice bits to get along (i would get errors during install under any x64 windows os. the explanation for these errors was "quit, restart your computer, and try to install again"...again meaning another 15 minutes for the installer to "check" your "configuration". why did they tout the "new x64 adobe" thing if it sucks out of the box?). bring on the competition (paintshop/lucis)!!!
