Interesting for people with big DVD libraries like they say, but I am not buying any of those SRT DVD or whatever or Blu-Ray until it becomes really mainstream and it's the only option.
Are we on the same page? :chriso:

:roadrunner: Just a quick hello to you all. I hope all is well and I miss you all. I will try and sneak in a bit more, but my online time (heck, my pure computing time at home) has been reduced dramatically. At least I can say that I might have a hold on my internet and computer addiction though.

All is well here, I failed my Summer course (it was accelerated and the other stuff going on at the time) so I will be retaking that class on top of my 3 other classes here in a week or so. Just this fall and spring semester and I will be done. I am no longer working nights and weekends at the Olive Garden, and I now work full time for US Linen and Uniform doing MIS junk (kinda). Great experience and pays well and I have a job guaranteed until I am done with college.

We had a blast in Costa Rica:

My little girl just turned 6 and my son will be soon to follow entering the "terrible twos" here in a couple weeks, followed by our 10 year anniversary.

Well, off I go now <_<

Take care all.

:roadrunner: Thanks again my friend. It was an interesting trip. We had lots of fun, but i must say that it is nice to be back here where there are decent roads (with roadsigns...thank God for Garmin there or we would have never made it) and where you can understand everyone (and they can understand you).

Oh, and NEVER give the police money...I got pulled over and the officer tried to get me to bribe him. Luckily we were prepared and only had our passports and credit cards available and visible when he was going to write me a ticket. Yeah, needless to say he decided it wasn't worth the effort to write a "ticket" since i would have to pay it at the airport (we were on our way to catch our flight back here) and he didn't get the cash. I was doing 71 km per hour and he had the nerve to say i was going 81 (since 80 was the highest that we ever saw the speed limit there). <_<

Another couple had the same thing happen to them (yep, the whole 81 km per hour) and they paid the officer $40 in travelers checks...but didn't sign them. Then they called them in lost. LOL

Wow, that looks like an amazing trip, beautiful pictures. Good to hear from you, computer-ninja-christo. :bluerip: Well if you can manage to balance computers and "outside world" but need to take a break and only come here once in a while, maybe it's for the better. You're a good guy, you'll work it out. :( :roadrunner:

:bluerip: Thanks Hog...i brought back some Costa Rica coffee liqueur and managed to get a 5 pack of Cuban cigars back with me as well. Oh, while i was there i smoked a Costa Rica cigar (took me almost over an hour to finish it) and man...i was giggy after that.

Wired.

I tried to sleep, but ended up staying up until 4 am...and when I did sleep...oh the dreams...
