Interesting music app based on mozilla software (is 64bit compatible, mac and linux compatible as well, it works on windows of course)

To download it just click on songbird 0.2 developer preview

Songbird Web Site

Give it a try if you want, it works pretty good :talker:

I liked it, I figure there are other programs out there, but the amount of compatibility for it is interesting.. :gsg9: (works better then winamp) :talker:

After using songbird for a while, considering it is still in its early stages. I see lots of promise for it. Once completed I expect it to be like, Amarok+Itunes+Firefox all in one.

Not bad but I would not be able to use it all the time at the moment. Considering I do not believe that the Mozllia code is tweaked enough to be used as an Audio Player

How heavy on system resources is it? I might wanna try it on our home server, but she's a lightweight... (P3 700MHz, 128 RAM)

Ya, it has some of the high ram requirements that sometimes occur in regular Firefox, also note my winamp runs at about 25mbs or ram (with same number of songs)
