lol, I just got my G7 and 5L (Steelpad) Mousepad.

The mousepad is wider than my computer case!!! :talker:

The G7 is going to take some MAJOR getting used to...I miss when I shoot in cs because of its accuracy/sensitivity...
Think I will have to pull it back to 800dpi...

GSG, you got a pick of that monster of a mouse pad?? I thought about getting a steelpad several times but expensive. Let me know how you like it.

MO, get the G5!! I love that mouse it is so awesome!!

I've played with the idea of using a trackball. How does it work for you?

I have used a trackball for about 5 years and can't see me going back to a standard mouse. I have a regular mouse on my Vista system and it is a real pain to use after so many years of the ease of the trackball. The link below will show you which one I have and which one I want. The second, the Trackball Optical is what I have. The Trackball Explorer is what I want but has been discontinued but I am searching...talker. :pray:

They work great in x64 with the MS Intellipoint 5.5 drivers. All functions are available with the drivers. All buttons (4) are fully customisable as is the wheel. I use the wheel as the "back" button for web pages as well as scrolling...talker. :lol:

Try putting your mouse setting at 5.0, then put the dpi to the bottom setting, that should help, those are the settings i use in cs source.

Posted ImageI absolutely love my tractball (or trackball...whatever). I will never go back EXCEPT when doing certain graphics editing or creation. It is easier to follow a line with a mouse than a tract (i keep both install and running--mouse and tract--but tract is used 95% of the time). You also can't beat the tractball when it comes to using multimonitor computer...makes a HUGE difference. Try it out to see for yourself.
