Well.......the Gremlins have struck again!! LOL!! :chriso:

This time its my G7 mouse.

Over this past week it has become almost unusable......throwing up double and triple left clicks at random when single clicking. Eg. go to open Firefox and 2 or 3 copies open or windows maximising when trying to move them etc etc. dammed annoying!!......all at random and intermittent intervals........ :(

A quick trip to Logitech's Forums shows many with the same problem and that it happens on certain builds of the G7..........the problem not surfacing until after a long period of use (I've been using mine since October) and deteriorating rapidly thereafter.

So I called Logitech and they have confirmed that it is indeed one of these dodgy builds......so RMA it goes.

Great stuff as I don't have a spare.....so will have to pick up one tomorrow before I send off.....this plus the expense of sending the damn thing back also. Sometimes I think its better to buy from a store rather than 'online' at times like this......... :chriso:

I fairly recently bought for my little brothers Conroe build, the LOGITECH|MX3000 CRDLS DESKTOP wireless laser mouse an keyboard set, Now the mouse barly works on a shiny black desktop, an not at all on any other surface, seems the laser is wore out.
How did you go about RMAing that scara?

Easy peasy buddy :(

You call Logitech first and give them details of your product....serial number/model etc etc....which they then record and give you a Logitech ID number (very important).

Next...contact your supplier explaining the fault and explain you have spoken with Logitech and that you have an ID number from them. They should issue you with RMA proceedure details for sending the goods back for replacement or credit.

If they refuse or for some reason they can't?.......then you call Logitech back and they will issue the replacement/credit themselves :chriso: (they tell you this when you call them).

I found Logitech to be very helpful and professional in dealing with my problem......makes a change from some manufacturers I have dealt with in the past!
