Scara, your E-6600 OC is like a first step. My E-6300 runs that fast! You Oced the vid card, spend some time on the cpu. I'm really am curious as to your temps when you are around 1.475vcore. My E-6600 is at 370 FSB in the 55-59C on air depending on ambient. Many are showing 4.0Ghz plus with E-6600s. Obviously I need better cooling and I need to know how that Swiftech system performs.

Yes, the E6300 may reach 165% OCed, fast like an E6700 (but with half the cache). At stock speed only consumes arround 30W, but may safely go until 65W. Cool chip !

All in good time my friend......all in good time.

AC5 takes a couple of weeks to bed down properly.....which is why I like a good burn in period before pushing.

Besides......getting my G80 working properly was my first concern as I didn't know if it was going to be an RMA job or not.

Nope........I'm at 1.425v....and for some reason CPUz shows differently? :D

I took the Core temps after rebooting back to 3Ghz as I forgot to do it clocked.....LOL  ........but they are near enough as we are only talking seconds just after the Prime run......

Gonna try for 4Ghz later but it will be a struggle I think as this BIOS is very picky......had to relax timings on RAM more than I would have liked and had the RAM at 2.3v.

Looks like I'll have to really up the chipset volts for higher figures.......

Still.......only 1.8s behind RJsPC's score of 12.281s now   :P
