Vista Virus?

Of course we know it`s almost impossible but MS have had to hit back hard at claims of a virus being ready to attack Windows Vista.

i agree with them!

yup, same here!

Think about it, depending on the team and the size of the team, and the skill level of the creators, there could be a virus in a matter of a few hours after the beta hit... by time the acutal version comes out there could already be hundreds. And that's one down side to beta testing :).

does norton 2005 work with Vista?

Their will always be Viruses
you can Count on it.

With Vista 32bit it will be the Same old Same old, but x86-64 will require abit more Intuition and Expertise on the writers part, however a 64bit virus that gets the job done will be much harder to detect and remove if even at all possible, the resources of 64bit will allow for far smarter Viruses.

I haven't been able to install norton with Vista, best bet right now is to use Avast
it's free and works great

thanks mike, after recking several 5112/5219 installs experimenting
with others, i gave up before i tried avast (used it for the x64 xp/server
betas and rtm).
