They have given us the option of turning off the start-up sound B)

an upgrade over RC1 is NOT going as planned. ATI drivers are being overwritten by MS drivers and you cannot reinstall, and Audigy drivers are not being carried over from upgrade. removing a program takes in excess of 45 minutes :chriso: Im going to do a clean install and see where that goes

Yes, i will do a fresh install too.
Just need to wait some long hours till my DL is finished. : :D Now going @ 56 KB/s :chriso:

well i would hold on a bit for a faster DL for x64bit :chriso:

BTW, im not too happy with this build. hang onto your 5600 disk until things are sorted

Yup! on the faster DL :chriso:
and im not saying anything until i see how the clean install goes. right now a BIG problem i see is copying files. to a different drive with a window minimized, if you move a file from your desktop to a minimized window, it could move it into a folder within that window

~update~ A fresh install is the way to go. Video and Sound work now.

please let us know how it compairs to the 5600. my 32 bit download looks like a corrupt one...i'll wait for the x64 version :chriso:
