They have given us the option of turning off the start-up sound B)

an upgrade over RC1 is NOT going as planned. ATI drivers are being overwritten by MS drivers and you cannot reinstall, and Audigy drivers are not being carried over from upgrade. removing a program takes in excess of 45 minutes 
Im going to do a clean install and see where that goes

Just need to wait some long hours till my DL is finished. :

well i would hold on a bit for a faster DL for x64bit 
BTW, im not too happy with this build. hang onto your 5600 disk until things are sorted

please let us know how it compairs to the 5600. my 32 bit download looks like a corrupt one...i'll wait for the x64 version
