I just heard on the radio that IBM is building a new super computer for the U.S Department of Energy. It will have 1 petaflop of processing power!!! Oh yeah baby!! I so want one, except for the fact that it is going to cost 35 million dollars!!!!!!!! :D

What in the world does the Energy Dept. need all of that for?!! I think they should let us borrow it for awhile to run some folding@home!!! Wow, we would be number one within no time at all!!! :blink:

That's a crazy amount of processing power!!! I wonder what in the world they need all of it for. I mean, I'm all for planning for the future, and planning for expansion, but that's a little excessive if you ask me.
