Hi,

Nice to be at home again, after a month involved in a field job in the middle of the Amazonic Forest 110 km far from the nearest computer.

Guys, it was a nice trip. I hadnt been in a place like that yet. Nature there is too exuberant !

I was mapping for water springs and fiscalizing the construction of some water level monitoring boreholes and devices. We will now start to use this information to understand the behavior of the underground water in places that will be mined for bauxite (aluminum ore). The main purpose of the study is to tell the mining company how deep they can explore the ore layer with minimal impact to the hydrogeological system of the area.

Just against Febre Amarela (Yellow Fever), a very dangerous fever transmitted by a kind of mosquito.
