intel isnt in trouble ..they are developing quad cores as well .. and conroe is obviously a success story for them.

Yeah, I like AMD myself. They employee American and European workers rather then Intel which keeps opening more factories in Asia. They are building one now in Hocimin City (sorry for the spelling).

They may not be allowed build that Chris. The gov over there are not happy with the Intel job losses. At least that's what I think I read ...

Ah, I hadn't read that. Thanks for that tid bit. I don't know why you would build a factory there in the first place. Vietnam is was to of a insecure area. Not a good idea to build a factory that you are going to rely on for years to come.
