The new discs will be priced at 35 euros ($44.90) for a 50GB BD-R (write once) disc and 45 Euro ($57.75) for a 50GB BD-RE. In April, TDK said it would begin selling the same media in the U.S. "later this year," for $47.99 for a 50GB BD-R recordable disc and $59.99 for a 50GB BD-RE rewritable version.

Its coming!!
I think I would rather have an 80gig Hard drive for $50 than a one time disc for almost as much.
Ill be waiting for the price to come down to my $2 level
