We had oven roasted (i actually put the sandwich in the oven, open faced to cook) turkey sandwiches with provolone cheese and bbq sauce, on whole wheat bread. For a side we had a nice salad mix with fresh parm cheese, tomatoes, pink lady apples and diced onions. My wife had cucumber ranch on the salad, my little girl had regular ranch while i mixed bbq and ranch for my salad. Apple juice was our drink of choice, except my little one had water.

I broke out of my normal PB&J and microwave burritos and such and last nigth had beef stroganoff and tonight had boneless chicken breast marinaded in italian seasonings and corn with a little black pepper and paprika with a pat of butter. Both were good and neither turned out burnt or ruined as I'd have expected, if you knew me you'd realize what a grand accomplishment these to meal have been.

Sounds good, I had Fresh Salmon Stake with Homemade Blueberry jam...I had a low blood sugar when I decided to make this and it seemed like a better idea at the time... :) ...but all in all it was quite good.

PS my definition of 'fresh' is sealed packaging. :o
