BOC is great. They create great moods. Thx mane, hadn't heard that one yet.
enip turned me onto this video from Antoine Dufour--awesome fingerstyle player. Here's his version of Jerry's (Reed) Breakdown with a friend on the bass notes.

Also two thumbs up to vrosa who listened to one of the best songs in history.

they are a favorite. nice seeing a face to go with the voice. MA really have some eclectic tunes/albums out (the "house" theme, w/sinead o'conner, and the "batman forever" soundtrack are a few), and their choices of vocalists are superb. i also love tracey thorn's work with "everything but the girl".

"the rite of strings", di meola. ponty and clarke. the tunes "song for john" (first version), and "renaissance" are just superlative (dvd of them, live @ montreux).

Enip. and I were just talking about how good "The Rite of Spring" is but I never saw the "Rite of Strings" post until now.
Here's Stravinsky via the London Symphony Orchestra. It's f'ing amazing.
