Today is my Dad's birthday (56 years old) and his gift was the CD "Irish Heartbeat" by the Chieftains (his favorite group) and Van Morrison which should be delivered to him in Florida in about 10 hours. I've been listening to them all night. Here's a great one from 'em:



What a great group. And the music was the true inspiration for American Bluegrass as seen when Earl Scruggs (the inventor of the claw style for banjo playing) teamed up with them.
