Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 continues the Internet Explorer commitment to provide enhanced security and privacy, additional browser features, and enhanced usability for platform developers. Features and fixes described in this article explain behavior changes you can expect to find in the beta 1 version of Internet Explorer 7 for Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Microsoft Windows (code-named "Longhorn").

does this one require you to validate windows to install? The last one I d/led required to validate and it would always crash at that stage :P

So if anyone finds a way to make this install alongside with IE6 I'll be a happy person. The last time I installed IE7 on my computer, it made explorer crash and the stupid thing wouldn't even let me get in to My Computer. Couldn't backup anything. While I would like to try it out, it's not worth having to reinstall everything on my computer even if I did it on my testing machine.

I installed it and have to say that I liked too much. Its stable and at least by now I hadnt probs with any site. I think that build 5335 is a good one for daily use...

And yes, I know that there is a way to install it alongside with IE6. I read something about it but dont remember where. As far as I know theres a mod pack of IE7 that preserves IE6 config...
