What upgrade should i do so i can fully use vista? i can do more than one since i am gonna get a job

Vista will demand a lot, my machine will probably not do for Vienna so help me folks.
What upgrade should i do so i can fully use vista? i can do more than one since i am gonna get a job

ok so far i am gonna get more ram and better graphics...
that gives me an AMD 64 3200+ with 2GB ram and probably either a new nvidia or ATI card. (i prefer ATI)
Clarky RAID is faster transfer so that will come but not yet
