Trend Micro has released a new antivirus program for beta testing. I'm checking it out right now and it looks pretty good. The real-time scanning doesn't seam to slow the system down like most programs. The program is running steady and has not crashed. The scan seams to be quick and effecient. Get it at TrendBeta.

Its really annoying wen an anti-virus software slows the computer down. but my problem was solved by upgrading my memory RAM to 1GB. after that neva noticed that I had an anti-virus program.

Anyway, I hope the Beta version is good man. tell us how it runs on the PC after some times testing.

Well I have been using it for a few days and it appears to be fine. I have had a few troubles with it finding my internet connection for some reason, but they seam to be straightening out. Now I just have to fill out the danged mile long survey so I can get the free one year subscription.

Trend Micro makes some good products. I just bought PC- cillian, it doesnt take much memory and is pretty dang efficient. I think they won Consumer Report's top virus scanner for 2005.
