Sony is expected to reveal more details about its eagerly awaited Playstation 3 console in Tokyo on Wednesday. Reporters and analysts have been invited to an event, which was originally only intended for PlayStation game developers.

This has led to speculation that Sony may be gearing up to give more details about the launch of its new console. Last month Sony said it still aimed for a spring release, but warned it could be delayed due to technical reasons.

Do you reckon the PS3 will arrive in time for spring as first promised?

currently the plan seems to be America/Japan this year and Europe next year.

obviously they dont wanna delay. if everything goes as planned it'll come on time, but due to technical reasons theres a chance that it'll be delayed.

Yeah, ps3 is gonna be expensive!

Xbox 360 was cheaper, most my mates imported theirs

Interests:hmm, Anime well really anything japanese lol, music, movies, philosophy as it gives me an excuse to like do nothing and react like i am pondering why a chair is indeed a chair ^_~, imvery active online too so that is a interest i guess atleast i think so haha and erm writing i love my imaginative writing and poetry and erm yeah i now sound like a girly pansy great stuff *manly stanse* ahem i also like my basketball been playing since i was 6 and yeah been on around 6-7 different teams and played also on my high school Footie team and trained with Stockport county Juniours. hmmm yeah changed this into a autobiography great stuff, sorry ^__^

The date has been moved to November now ^^ the company plans on producing at least 1 million units of the console each month in order to keep the supply channel full. It's said the goal was to ship 6 million PS3s worldwide by March 2007.
The Price is said to be upto $500 for the full package which is around on a estimated converston £275
