i recently reinstalled windows, and now after downloading service pack 2 it gives me the message, invalid product key and refuses to install. How do i get around this?

Do you have a legit copy of windows?

Then that's the problem...I'm not supposed to help you with that, but I can say TORRENT and ACTIVATION.

windows is already installed and i dont wanna reinstall and ive already run an activation patch when 1st installed

Your problem lies in the fact your copy of windows isn't a proper one. SP2 knows things. Integrate it into Your XP CD then run upgrade from within XP and you'll be ok.

actualy i think SP2 going even a not legit copy's
sp1 has this broblem like it bneed's a legin windows to install it, but sp2 going even a pirate one

All Sorted.
i used i tool which i attached although you may remove with a guide to change the key, keygen for new ones.
