hey guys
well im trying to setup a small business,fixing computers,u know the usall upgrades,build,networking ect...
ive put my slef in the paper and every local shop in the town,but i need more ideas to push and get custom

Here, I'm advertising my company for a 100 euro a month in busses and trains.... 10 posters a month... works like a charm!

Might also try putting your business name and phone #, on magnetic signs and sticking them on each side of your vehicle.

I havent done any advertising much. I just started when I was younger and the word of mouth has helped me. Im the computer guy for two business's and work in three different counties. A couple of my friends from school are about to start working with me, and we are going to expand to website making and hosting along with the pc repair and networking. This will also expand our area of business to two more counties. Its growing well, just do good work and not over charge to much, and your business will do great.

having an internet shop where you can order over the net and have u t ake it to the local post office and post it to them would probobly get you more sales, next to no cost to you!!

There is that big computering marget in Manchester right? Why dont you like make a really good flyer and be one of them annoying people who give them out to every bloody person. Dont be a zombie though lol like engage and be all cheery and witty ^^ You gotta make sure the flyer is good though if its boring then no one is gonna care. Photoshop it coz it will make you look professonal and reliable. People take notice on appearance before anything else.
But yeah the internet advertising is a good one ^^ make a website and stuff with info on it and put it under your Sigs in forums and such make it known ^^ mention it lots haha
