The winner of Best Action Game of E3 2005, and the source of much industry acclaim, will see its sequel on the PC and next generation consoles. The F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault and Recon) sequel is however unlikely to maintain its title as Monolith will not be working along with publisher Vivendi Universal, who owns the rights to the name.
Good news for F.E.A.R fans is that the only thing Vivendi takes with it is the name. All characters, plot and so forth should carry over despite the publisher changing to Warner. It is likely that the PC version will appear first followed by versions on both Xbox 360 and PS3. As always we will keep you informed with any new information on the next F.E.A.R as it comes in.
Always wanted to try the game. A nice title!
