Google, Sun Microsystems and Lenovo have got together to sponsor an attempt to label the Bad peoples software out there.
Badware (really things like Spyware, Viruses that get installed with free software solutions) will be labeled on www.stopbadware.org
This is a non-profit effort, keep an eye on it!

It must be very confusing for non computer people to hear terms the whole time. Now they have to learn something new. Where does it stop?
