Late at night, a man on the highway speeding badly sees a cop in his rearview mirror and thinks "oh darn, I can't risk a ticket right now!"
So he speeds up, but bad luck, he's spotted and the cop starts following him and pulls him over.
So, the man shaking and hoping it's not to bad
Cop says "Okay, I've had a very bad day, my boss is mad at me, I got 5 guns pointed at me at one time today, my dog died. If you can give me a very good reason why you were speeding, I'll let you go."
So the man thinks and answers "Well, my wife ran off with a cop a week ago and I thought you were bringing her back!"
Officer:
"Have a good day sir"
