I believe a community with friends, ideas and knowledge does more than just a site.

What do you think?

Forums are excellent places to share information! I've learned a lot from being on various forums, and I've shared some thing's that I might have had up my sleeve on other forums.

when I'm buying a computer or just a video card, if there are problems I don't understand or just want someone's opinion on a program, forums are extremely useful.

I've used forums for a long time, and I love how people won't hesistate to help out to share thier knowledge, I think that's really makes a sucessful forum, you get a real community behind something, and it'll flurish...

And I def. need to get a real life again... I'm bored with my current life, ideas can be pm'd to me!

Best example imo is the Linux community. That proves that how information is shared is affected by forums
